I used to have a HK USP Compact .40 which I sold a while back. I sold it to finance the purchase of an M&P45. I have no regrets about buying the M&P45; it's a great pistol. But I do have regrets about selling the USP. The only reason I got rid of it is that I wanted out of the .40 caliber game. If I had been smart enough to buy it in .45 ACP instead of listening to my friend, I'd still have it today.
Mine had the ambidextrous safety/decocker, so it could be carried either decocked DA/SA or cocked and locked SA. Not everybody likes these pistols, and they do have some drawbacks—a gritty trigger and a funky proprietary rail system that requires buying HK branded light accessories—but they are dead nuts reliable and just plain work. Like I said, if mine had been a .45, I'd have kept it and been happy with it.
At the time, my 2 gun rotation consisted of the HK and a 3" Kimber 1911.

exactly 1911's are the best when i was 12 my dad baught me a barrister malina (got stolen by a family member) so i just got a new one last week which is my edc im now in the market for a nice holster i want to get a crossbreed supertuck, or take a trip to tandy leather and attempt to make my own.
