OK to hunt Bigfoot in TX

Post by JJVP »

Texas has no position on the existence of Bigfoot -- but go on, hunt it anyway.

I can see it now: Hunter shoots and kills another hunter, thought he was Bigfoot.

These are just a few of the questions that occur to me:

A) What's the recommended caliber?

B) Would PETA stay out of it, since Sasquatch might have legal standing as "human?"

C) If Sasquatch is human, is hunting him murder?

D) If Sasquatch is NOT human, is PETA smart enough to avoid looking even dumberer and staying out if it?

E) What does Sasquatch taste like?

F) How is Sasquatch best prepared?

G) What would make the best kind of wall mount for a Sasquatch trophy........or should it be displayed standing up full height with arms upraised like a rampant bear?

H) Do Sasquatch make better pets..............or drinking buddies?

I) Can a Sasquatch learn to shoot (back)?

J) Do Sasquatch have 2nd Amendment rights?

I could go on, but I have to go see a man about a dog.....figuratively speaking.

They say to be careful about "messin' with Sasquatch". So I guess that goes double for "messin' with Texas Sasquatch"!

Well, good to know I haven't been poaching all these years.
Now, if they will just declare open season on snipes, I'm good to go. :thumbs2:

IIRC, there was some sort of a Bigfoot convention held a while back in Tyler, Texas.

For anyone who's driven the backwoods of East Texas, these woods would seem big enough to hide
Bigfoot if he exists. I don't think he exists, but thousands of acres of woods would provide cover.

I didn't believe in them either, until I saw one on a scout camping trip.

I kept quiet for a number of years, but when I tell the story, I get strange looks like I may be wearing a tinfoil hat. I don't care what anyone says or thinks.... I did see one.
If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.

.308 and up.

B) Would PETA stay out of it, since Sasquatch might have legal standing as "human?"
Have you ever known PeTA to stay out of ANYTHING?

C) If Sasquatch is human, is hunting him murder?
No. Sasquatch is an undocumented cryptid migrant...

D) If Sasquatch is NOT human, is PETA smart enough to avoid looking even dumberer and staying out if it?
See above answerer.

E) What does Sasquatch taste like?
Chicken.

F) How is Sasquatch best prepared?
Lightly braised in garlic with rosemary, then flame-seared over mesquite.

G) What would make the best kind of wall mount for a Sasquatch trophy........or should it be displayed standing up full height with arms upraised like a rampant bear?
Full-stature, arms relaxed, mouth open, cigarette dangling.

H) Do Sasquatch make better pets..............or drinking buddies?
What... you can't have both? My Dog Grimm drinks my amstel like it's going out of style.

I) Can a Sasquatch learn to shoot (back)?
Yes, and quite successfully. they just don't know anything about small-unit tactics, and their version of 'cover' is a joke.

J) Do Sasquatch have 2nd Amendment rights?
What does Sotomayor have to say about it?

I could go on, but I have to go see a man about a dog.....figuratively speaking.[/quote]
I saw that same dog earlier - lots of bark, little to no bite.

If you have a fireplace, I suggest a rug.

One should simply consult the fine book "To Serve Sasquatch". It is rumored to contain many tasty recipes. But don't let them know the true nature of the book.

Y'all should not talk about my ex-wife this way. Even I'm not allowed to. But if you see her do what you've gotta do.
Gun control is like stopping drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to drive.

Great, now I can't walk around outside without a shirt on without a fear of being shot at.
