It is apparent that the administration is having difficulty locating the forger that created Obama's Birth Certificate to work on these Fast & Furious documents before the deadline tomorrow when Holder will be held in contempt.

You KNOW how I feel about the "mainstream media" and "the free press" in this country. They are either complicit with this administration's goals, or they are in denial that they are left-biased. In either case, they are pretty much USELESS, no matter how high and mighty, learned and elite they feel themselves to be. And the lack of coverage of Fast and Furious is simply a SHOWCASE for my argument...

You were surprised that Holder delivered no documents—forged or otherwise?
DEVELOPING ...
President Obama has granted an 11th-hour request by Attorney General Eric Holder to exert executive privilege over Fast and Furious documents, a last-minute maneuver that appears unlikely to head off a contempt vote against Holder by Republicans in the House.
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is expected to forge ahead with its meeting on the contempt resolution anyway.

I think there are at least two factors at work: 1) bias; and 2) sensationalism --pandering to the lowest common denominator and the basest human instincts. A number of factors have greatly increased sensationalistic pandering since the 70s, and it has been obvious enough even in the last decade that my children could tell the difference from the time they were about 12 until they hit their 20s. The networks no longer practice any self-restraint and are in a race to the bottom with whatever they think they can get away with. We're in our decadent phase and I'm sure you know where that leads.Heartland Patriot wrote:Oldgringo wrote:If any of y'all are of an age to remember the Watergate thinghy, the press was on Nixon and his staff like a duck on a Junebug.
