Looks nice! I don't have one, but every review I've read is very positive.

What optic are you using there?

I think that's just a stock photo, not Andy's rifle. The Annoyed Man wrote:What optic are you using there?

Keep us posted, as I am sure I'll be interested in this when the AMD arrives. I was planning on using a UTG quad rail and putting a red dot in a forward mount, but if I don't like the forward mount, I may have to go to something like this.

I've heard nothing but good things about the tws cover. I am interested to hear your opinion on it, as I've thought about picking one up as well.

Take a look at Primary Arms red dots, very well made. I love mine. I have it on an Ultimak rail. Very solid, and you don't have to lose your zero every time you pop the hood.

I've seen some videos of people shooting a group, opening up the tws rail, and then shooting another group. It held zero.TxSheepdog wrote:Take a look at Primary Arms red dots, very well made. Looks good! Let me know how you like that red dot...I've eyed them before. If they work well, they're a heck of a good deal.

Y-u-u-u-p! You nailed it, Andy!AndyC wrote:Stock photo, yes - I believe it's a Bushnell TRS-25 (which I happen to have my eye on as well). An inexpensive (sub-$100) but well-regarded red-dot sight.
