No, Mr. President, a lot of gun owners would not agree with that statement.
Actually I believe that AK-47s belong elsewhere, as our soldiers already carry something else, or is he saying I'm in favor of soldiers opposing ours using AK-47s?
Or does he think that an AK-47 was used in the recent tragedy?
The truth doesn't matter with Obama and the anti's....the AK-47 is a symbol and a proxy. It works as a symbol because it's the gun of our enemies and terrorists. It's a proxy because the symbolic AK will be used to ban AR's.

Tempting ... watched a couple youtube videos on it ... Tempting
I recommend all gun related purchases be made with cash.
Anything I bought on a credit card got sold at an alley behind a gun show to a guy, who said he was with the BATFE so it was a legal sale, all I remember was the guy said he voted in the Democratic primary and he wore pink tights and looked like Obama's son, if he'd had had one; so look for a guy fitting that description to find it...Sadly, I had to sell them in order to buy the mandatory helth insurance or pay a fine.

My RRA LAR-15 was purchased with cash and no paper trail or 4473.
It is buried nearby (not on my property) with a cache of ammo/mags/sight batteries and a bag of 1879 Gold Coins to be retrieved when the appropriate time comes! Which may be sooner that we expect! (J/K).

SKS Rusty Dug Up, no stock, not shootable
Generally it consists of a computer, data, or a network site that appears to be part of a network, but is actually isolated and monitored, and which seems to contain information or a resource of value to attackers.
I know you know better, but ...
I had a neighbor who buried money; waterprroof, but forgot about insulating/condensation
his pennies were like welded together with corrosion and paper money was like shredded cellulose attic insulation and mold/mildew ate it

I agree, but I don't think there will be a need to bury them because I doubt there will be confiscations --they don't need them to achieve the desired objective. All they have to do is criminalize using or possessing guns, so when you defend yourself you'll know you're going to prison for the rest of your life. And of course, any contact with police will lead to a weapons search. The police can't ask if you're an illegal alien, but they won't hesitate to search your car or your home, solely, of course, for officer safety (my guess at the dodge they'll use to pretend that we still have a 4th Amendment).
