Some parents say it is toy guns that make boys warlike. But give a boy a rubber duck and he will seize its neck like the butt of a pistol and shout "Bang!"......George Will

There used to be sign coming out of IAH that said "Drive Friendly" back in the days when gun racks in trucks were more common. I had friend come in from Chicago and he was convinced that the sign was needed because of the gun racks. He also could never understand why we thought a gun show was good weekend entertainment. Just goes to show you, don't trust anybody north of I 10.

I have a similar story. When I lived in Arizona there used to be a sign on the freeway between Flagstaff and Phoenix that said "Open Range". I had a friend that would always scrunch down in the seat when we passed the sign. I finally got around to asking her why she would do that and she said it was because it was an open range and anyone can shoot at her and she didn't want to be hit by the flying bullets.

Several years back, somebody put a cardboard sign below the Berkeley, CA city limit sign that said "Now leaving the United States of America". It stayed up there for quite a while, too.
