We visited Moody Gardens and the Bishops Palace. It was refreshing to go all over town and shop with out seeing nanny signs.

Fun Trip to Galveston.
We went and spent 3 days on the island and didn't see a single 30-06 Sign or any Gun Busters Signs. The GPD we meet was very nice and helpful while we were eating and asking about sites to visit in town.

It used to be a lot better in my youth. Went back for the first time in almost 20 years and its not the same.

Glad you had a nice trip, Delta. I haven't been down there in a while but I rather enjoy visiting despite the din of the anti-Galveston crowd.

It was our first trip together since our Honeymoon 17 years ago. Ike caused a lot of improvements along the Seawall. I was asked for money once but I gave them a firm respectful response and it was over.
