Just got it; just put it on
capacity now 15+1 chambered instead of 13+1
XD45 Pearce Grip PG-XD45+ adds 2
Ive used the Pearce Grips on Glocks for years; usually the PG-39 which adds +3 in the space of a Glock Factory +2 extension
Differences:
On Glocks, since the mags have "ears" I usually leave off the extra inside floorplate device, because once it tangled ion the spring. The ears keep the baseplate/floorplate from sliding off, and the "extra device" only makes it harder to get the last round in; I found it more hindrance than help.
On the XD, you MUST use the additional floorplate device (as far as I can tell) it keeps the floorplate from sliding off.
It's next to impossible to get the 15th round in, but with the XD's magazine loader tool, it can be done; and if desired, one could always just load 14 rounds of .45 and the thing would still be worth the money IMHO.
When holstered, It adds about an inch next to the belt, but tapers so it only adds about a half inch in shirt bulge at the rear of the grip ... not noticeable - I've carried Glock 17+3 (20) round mags and no one notices.
I only ordered one, it's in the gun for 16 rounds ready to go ... if that runs dry, the 13 rounders are close.
Worth the money? I'd do it again..for the one mag If concealing an XD45 is a problem, then use the 13 round in the gun and carry 15 rounder for spare.
I got it at Midwayusa, but other places may be cheaper
