Dick Morris has been warning folks about this very thing. That the pollsters, by and large, are going to try and create a self-fulfilling prophecy by telling everyone that since the election is already won by their Glorious Leader, why should anyone bother voting for Mitt Romney. As a rapper once famously said, "Don't believe the hype".

I sent the following email the the writer of the article...lets see if I get anything back from him...

Comrade Weisenthal,

Your missive to the masses about the futility of the electoral college was perfect. Comrade Alinsky would be very proud of you in your dedication to the revolution. Soon, with the hard work that you and others are doing in aiding him, Comrade Obama will banish that dirty bourgeoisie Romney and the masses will be led to the gloriousness of the peoples’ socialist workers paradise. Reactionaries such as Dick Morris are attempting to spread lies about you and the other comrades who are working to bring the truth to the masses, saying that you are attempting to sway the outcome of the election. Keep it up; then only the hard-core fascists will go and vote for Romney, that vile capitalist running dog. FORWARD!

That almost makes me want to grab my red banner and leotards and march on May Day.

BTW, when you look at the RCP map, you can see that it is a simple matter of not sending any more food to those places.....which don't feed themselves......and maybe we can fix it for good.

Sorry, but this goes right along with what Dick Morris was saying about the "pollsters" (and obviously others) doing what they can to influence people's decisions...if you go to the Wikipedia article on the guy, he is an supporter of the man currently occupying the White House...so, I take anything he has to say or show as propaganda designed to influence the election for HIS candidate of choice.

I would agree except for the fact he called the 08 election within .2%

Absolutely, and I'm only half joking. City people who want to eat should be mindful of the rights of the rural people who feed them.

Josef Stalin used the Red Army to go from town to town in the Ukraine and take all the food away from the people...they then starved. I'm not saying that our uniformed military would do this, not in the least...but what if the Occupier-in-Chief arms all those starving people and sends them to "take what is theirs"? Improbable, I know...but there is NOTHING that I put past them now, nothing.

Here's the real reason Obama will lose...

In 2008 Obama won for 2 reasons. George Bush and Racism.

George Bush was the focal point (rightly or wrongly, I'm not commenting on GB-II policy here) for everything people perceived as "wrong". The War, The Economy, Global Warming, you name it. The Left successfully blamed him, and thus the GOP, for all our ills. GB's inability to make a speech without looking like a hick didn't do him any favors.

Racism played into 2010 in a reverse way. What many people saw in Obama was a well-educated, well-spoken black man. A man they could vote for to prove to the world that they (the voter) were not a racist.

Both of those reasons are gone. Bush is a memory, and since "I've already proven I'm not a racist by voting for Obama in 2008" I don't have to make that mistake again.

Obama will lose. It won't be close. People are angry and, I pray, smart enough to see the news and realize that "Hope and Division" is not a real solution. It's Romney's to lose.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 47% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 43%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Just keep in mind, it's not the people who elect the president, it's the Electoral College.
It doesn't matter if Texas votes 51% or 100% for Romney, we still get 38 electoral votes.
California can vote 51% for BHO and they get 55 electoral votes.

Which is why it is so bloody important to fight the good fight in the battleground states and to aggressively pursue the opposition in those states on which they believe they have a lock.
