I thought my P238 sucked...because after the first round, I had to pull the trigger multiple times to get it to fire. Thought it was my thumb riding and pushing up the safety. Then I thought it might be the magazine...and then I thought maybe it was not going into battery. Nope, it would not push forward. Had a guy at the range clean it, that was not the issue either. Even thought that it was too dry, then we thought it was too wet. Was it the new trigger that I had installed? Nope. Maybe Sig made a lemon? Nope...
Well, long story short, it was me. I was not shooting it properly. It was because I have started to utilize the SRT (Short Trigger Reset) on my bigger Sigs. Glocks seem to operate the same way, as do my HKs. My P238 sucked because I was not letting the trigger out far enough. It will not fire unless the trigger resets all the way out.
Any of yall done something this goofy? Also, I wonder how many times someone sells their gun because the shooter is broke?
