Did you notice how the paper tried to "load" the question? They made it about protecting property instead of protecting one's own safety and that of others.

I seem to recall this bill had something built into it to protect the shooter from civil prosecution so long as the shooting was justified/legal. Did I just make that up, or did this bill that just passed contain something to that effect?

Having read what I believe to be the final version, I believe that portion got signed.
