These people and their irrational fear of inanimate objects continue to get more and more ridiculous.

In this case, and I can't believe I am even saying this, it seems like Nanny B. was using the most common sense. The reporter was trying to bait him into a reaction and want him to announce changes to prevent it from happening again. He essentially said its money for scrap metal to the highest bidder ... period.

NYPD has over 30,000 sworn officers that's a lot of shooting a year for training and quals. 28,000 pounds of brass a year isn't all that much in light of the number of officers.

I wonder what would happen to that reporter if she knew that there are gun shops and gun manufacturers in NY. They even have ammunition manufacturers.

Just like the people of The Republic of California dont realize some of the largest defense contractors, and class 3 manufactures are in there back yard.

About $2.50/Lb. Better than the scrap value.RottenApple wrote:barstoolguru wrote:did I hear them right ...$69,000 for used shells.... how much was there?
