I'm buying mainly because they're so hard to find, and it's so cool!
It's stainless BTW.
Pics after I purchase.
Reason for this post? Mainly to celebrate, vent, and see if anyone has a reason I should *not* get it.

Could try this ...Richardc wrote:Very cool: I'm trying to get the wife to let me buy one. She is not sure why the 2 10/22s i have already is not enough.
Thanks for the info. I can't figure out why it would lose it's zero. The sites are both on one part of the rifle. If one site was on part A and the other on part B after it was dissembled, then I could see how that would cause issues over the long term.Topbuilder wrote:Good buy!
'Gun Tests' did a comparison between the Ruger 12/22 TD , the Marlin 39A and a Browning SA-22. The Ruger won hands down. Grade "A".
I'm looking forward to seeing one. 4.7 pounds in a compact size when not assembled. What's not to like. The only thing that confused me about the write-up is where they stated " We should note the change in impact point would not necessarily be consistent." when speaking about accuracy during and multiple re-assemblies. Let us know what you find at the range.
