I have the 517 with the EOTech 3X magnifier on a flip-to-side A.R.M.S. mount. Love it.

I have the XPS-2z and the 3x mag on my SCAR and works great and looks good. The magnifier is very solid feeling and positive in its engagement clicks.

I have an EOTech 552 on my EBR, but it seems too big for the 10/22. I use instead a TruGlo, pretty inexpensive, and it has 11 or 12 settings from off to high. It is also lighter than the EOTech. On my Win 94, I have a Millett, which is a higher quality red dot but same idea, not as large or heavy as the EOTech, but similarly adjustable.

I once had one of those Docter style red dots from JP Rifles on the 10/22, and it was tiny, light, and worked great but the on/off control was the cap, which I found awkward.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

I have an XPS3-0 that is going onto my AR pistol. My 10/22 needs something that doesn't cost almost three times what the gun itself did "rlol"

I have had a variety of red dot sights on both my 10/22 and my .22/45 pistol, and I still recall when a friend scoffed, observing me with one or the other "A red dot on a .22, why?"

Because it's fun, for one. :biggrinjester:

I have 4 Eotech's, and love them. I really like the adjust-ability for both day and night use. the 3x magnifier is a rock solid piece. I purchased a knockoff and was not happy with it at all....then a buddy let me try the one from Eotech...I was sold.
