TheDC obtained the emails through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Even ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN, etc must be peeved that some not-for-profit blog has that kind of access to the White House.

Media Research Center preceded Media Matters into existence as a reaction against the flood of liberal lies in the liberal media (but I repeat myself). Media Matters is an effort to squash Fox News, against which about 99% of what passes for their "fact checking" is directed. They are morons.
