Glock HELP!

Post by Munk »

I swapped out the trigger on my 23 today for the 3.5 lb trigger. I put it back together, rack the slide, and dry fire... Nothing!

Now, I can't even get the slide off because it seems to be in cocked position.

Any suggestions?

First off to dissasemble the gun take out the striker through the rear of the gun to take it apart.

Now to fix the problem, did you change to the "-1" connector? if you did and the trigger does not reset when racking the slide, it could be that the bear surface between the trigger bar and the connector is rough and needs to be polished. I have had this problem before.

just for information, what else did you change, im guess the minus 1 and the competition trigger spring?

Buy a 1911?

Sorry, I know that was a bit mean. Hope you get the problem fixed. I hate when stuff like that happens.

Well there you go then! Just don't tell your wife I was mean about her gun. Sooner or later she'll get it working, and then I might not be safe.
