Joining the Waiting Room

First time post and first time CHL application.

Today is my first day in the "waiting room". I dropped off my packet in person at DPS headquarters today and walked out with a paper receipt. Nice thing was the clerk checked all my application materials to make sure it was complete. The countdown begins...

Use the time wisely and get used to method of carry around your home.

Welcome to the forum! As one previous poster so wisely wrote: this is the REAL class.

Try to be patient. And, when your PIN comes, throw it out...forget you ever saw it. It's a sickness. (Checking the website, that is)
