Sig P238 & P938 Pic's and comparisons

We finally received a Sig P938 (Extreme) in, first impressions were that is was exactly like the 238 with a better feel in my hands. I had no complaints with the 238 though, actually it is the only 380 I have ever liked. The trigger seems a bit stiffer although it has not been shot yet and as typical of Sigs it should break in to be really nice. I broke out a 238 demo gun that we have for some side by side comparisons, first of all it just feels better possibly due to the extended mag and pinky rest and although a bit larger it really is not noticable. The fit and finish is very good, the extreme grips are a bit agressive for those who hold onto guns with a death grip, otherwise it should work out fine and stay put in your standard grip with no sliding around. Another plesant surprise is that it came with 2 mags, ony one extention though. It fit my 238 holsters, although a bit tight I am sure they will stretch out a bit and the 238 will end up slightly loose in them, I do not carry the 238 anyways so it really will not make a difference to me. For a visual comparison I placed the 238 on top of the 938 so everybody could see the size difference. I imagine next time I head over to Greybeards Range I will bring the 938 along and shoot it before I actually put it up for sale, since I really like 1911's this could easily just find a home with our EMP and Kimber......
