1972 S&W - Too Nice To Shoot?

Post by doc540 »

K-38 Combat Masterpiece: 14-3

Well, the "to shoot or collect" question got answered today

sighted in at 50yds for silhouette matches

Final adjustments put 6 rounds in the 11 o'clock position after shooting low right.

Great decision. IMHO The only reason to collect is to shoot more guns.

I don't understand the collecting guns you want to shoot but never do. Life is short. Enjoy your toys.

I am going to go play the hell out of my 1953 Fender Telecaster now. :-)

sweet! we are half a band!

I used to have a jazz bass that also had the p-bass pickups. I forget the name of it, but it was a pretty nice fender bass. Bought a nice genz benz head a 2x10 & 1x15 cab for it... slapped on it for a couple years and then realized I really really suck bad at bass and sold it all. hah

Much respect to you my friend they are much harder to play than they look!

BTW- that gun has the prettiest deepest bluing I have ever seen on any S&W what year was it made?

What a beautiful gun. That finish is exquisite AND it shoots well too!

You are one lucky guy!

Well, thanks, but I just haunted Gunbroker for a couple of weeks and busted a move.

Even went back to the range today to shoot it again.

I surely love my 14-3 single action with trigger stop but I don't hesitate to shoot it. I feel the same way about all my guns.
