Bloomberg says No to National Guard because they carry guns

Well, the New York National Guard WAS heavily involved in the formation of the NRA.

Having seen the NYPD's track record and training regimen (link link... I should think the Guard is far, far better trained to carry guns than the NYPD.

The National and State Guard is trained to deal with these disasters... people are literally begging for help... Bloomberg has turned a deaf ear to their suffering.

Bloomberg is in his third term there is a two term limit in New York but the mayor and city council passed a special resolution lifting the limit. Public vote quickly reinstated the limit but by then he had won his third term. I can see this happening again next year
