Yep. A lot of the more famous lines in his speeches are near direct ripoffs from the writings of Frank Marshall Davis, his card-carrying communist mentor. OZeros "you didn't build that" was directly from a Davis column in one of his communist newsletters. Jarrett has basically been his 'handler' for years. Kind of like Viv Ivans in the "Left Behind" series. Heck, one of the local talk radio hosts refers to O as "President Carpathia".

But here's hoping that the American people will vote for restoration rather than 'revenge'.

I read those books and have thought of him as Carpathia ever since the primaries four years ago. I don't really think he's the anti-Christ, but close enough. But I didn't put Jarrett and Ivans together.

bo is a Marxist & socialist. He has been a member for the past 20 years in a church grounded in Black Liberation Theology. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_liberation_theology

For years I have been outraged and puzzled as to why the big secret. Why hasnt the MSM not reported this fact?

Referencing Black Liberation Theology you find that its a "Social Christianity" and its Organizations & Key Concepts include:

Confederation of Christian Trade Unions
Catholic Worker Movement
Christian Socialist Movement

United Order

Key concepts (marxist/socialist org. underlined)

Subsidiarity · Christian anarchism
Christian humanism · Marxism Liberation theology
Praxis School · Precarity
Human dignity · Social market economy
Communitarianism · Distributism
Catholic social teaching
Neo-Calvinism · Neo-Thomism

The Catholic Worker Movement is in no way shape or form related to BLT.

From the CWM website:
The Catholic Worker Movement described in 120 words
The Catholic Worker Movement began simply enough on May 1, 1933, when a journalist named Dorothy Day and a philosopher named Peter Maurin teamed up to publish and distribute a newspaper called "The Catholic Worker." This radical paper promoted the biblical promise of justice and mercy.

Grounded in a firm belief in the God-given dignity of every human person, their movement was committed to nonviolence, voluntary poverty, and the Works of Mercy as a way of life. It wasn't long before Dorothy and Peter were putting their beliefs into action, opening a "house of hospitality" where the homeless, the hungry, and the forsaken would always be welcome.

Over many decades the movement has protested injustice, war, and violence of all forms.Today there are some 223 Catholic Worker communities in the United States and in counties around the world.
Catholic social teaching has long denounced socialism as an evil, just the same as the Church denounces capitalism in its greedy form. Even capitalism has an evil side and much of the capitalism today is that form.

Jim Beaux, respectfully, I am not certain what your post was meant to describe but it ventured far away from the tenets of Black Liberation Theology. Catholic teaching in no way reflects belief in BLT.

Anygun you are mistaken. Call it what you want, but if it quacks like a duck.....

And of course the Catholic Church is in no way associated with BLT, but this isnt about the relationship between the church and BLT. The CWM is a separate organization and does not speak for the church.

The Catholic Worker Movement is an autonomous organization that is rooted in radical wealth redistribution tenets.

As I sense an air of condescension I will probably not continue discussing this with you. Take care.
