You are completely correct. i remember an incident within the last 10 years (and I'm sure there are more cases) where a teen took spray paint and a lighter to a cat. People are going to find a way to carry out their evil. I just get so and when I try to talk to anybody who has been fed the lies that 'gun control' works. It's really frustrating, discouraging , and sad that people can be so... what's the word...

No, but I told my brother I wanted a bayonet for my Yugoslavian Mauser for a Christmas present.

My M4 has the lug, but, of course it is a 16" barrel, which I understand requires an extended handle bayonet and they aren't all that easy to find.

Yep, correct.....that one in my picture above is on my M4 and it has the extension.

Before you ask.......I have no idea where I got it long ago.
It is a Vietnam style bayonet that the extension fits on. I have a 2nd one as a spare (without extension) that I can easily put the extension on if necessary to swap them out.

I had a colt bayonet with the extension. Recently sold mine since I changed ARs. They are for sell on Gunbroker. There are several variations of them.

well i seriously dought the millitary keeps gun manufacturers in buiness all by themselves.

I have my M9 from the military but my AR does not have a means to mount it. I do have a bayonet (and extremely sharp) for my CZ58 though.

Huh, I may take a look at the gun show I get to and see if anyone's got anything. I don't know if I'll get one, but I've not considered it before.
