Just mailed my packet Thursday 11/15/12, however I sent it express mail and my tracking number says it arrived 11/16/12... but I'm sure that won't speed up the process lol.

I really enjoy the forum here and looking forward to being part of the community.

They're on the governments dime so it takes awhile. Its almost impossible not to check daily though. You'll probably see an update real soon though.

It will update. My guess is it got slowed down due to the holidays but I dont work for DPS and dont want to.

DPS is slow but once the updates start to roll in it goes by rather fast. Typically unless they hit a snag on your background check the initial receipt of materials takes the longest to show on the site.

I ordered a Crossbreed Super Tucks Deluxe holster this morning. 4-6 week delivery, I'm curious to what gets delivered first, my CHL or my Holster.

Monday will be day number 22 since I mailed my packet with "no change in status".
