I'm a big fan of peacoat's, as someone mentioned earlier. They go well with jeans, slacks, etc. Pretty much anything. And they are waaarrrmmm. I picked up a $300 dollar peacoat for $99 the other day at the Wilsons Leather in the outlet in Arlington.

Not to drag this out, but the recent coolish weather got me to looking for my cotton duck field coat. As it turned out I left it at camp, so I started looking for another one.

Searched for both field coat and ranch jacket. Cabellas has a nice waxed cotton one for about $130. BassPro has one with orange patches for $100. Orvis can fit you out for up to $800. LL Bean has one for $97 OTD. Can't wait for the UPS truck.

Good to know. The field coat I've got kind of works for now, I have to take that warm lining out of it, but it still cuts the wind and provides an excellent cover garment. Long term I'm still going to be looking for something that fits a little better and meets the criteria.

Will have to wait until after the holidays though... the bank account keeps draining faster and faster...
