I started the process via the internet, and got a large Manila envelope from the DPS in the mail today. The problem is the flap was not secured, read wide open, and I am somewhat concerned that something may be missing. I have included a brief description of everything the packet contains and would like to know if I am missing anything I should contact the DPS about.
The large envelope contains 3 pieces of paper (The application for a CHL) already filled out with my information (as submitted online) and provisions to make any needed corrections. It also contains a second manila envelope that is also open (its open so it can be sealed by myself and sent back to the DPS).
The Second envelope contains 2 fingerprint cards (One with black borders and one with blue), 1 Passport photo holder, one booklet (laws and selected statutes), one page regarding Legislative changes, and one group of papers stapled together.
The group of papers contains one page (white) regarding FAST fingerprint services, one page (Pink) with the line "READ THIS PAGE FIRST", One page (white) regarding naturalized citizens and/or resident aliens, one page (Green) with instructions regarding finger printing, one page (white) regarding affidavits, and three pages (white) of affidavits.
I apologize in advance if I posted this in the wrong forum, but in my sleep deprived state this looked like the best fit for the topic.
DPS packet question.
