Wife told me to go buy a 22. Who am I to argue?

Post by CC Italian »

Pull my arm! :smilelol5: Ok so she wanted a .22lr to practice with at the range. Finally adding a .22lr to the armory. I know it should have been one of the first.

Anyways, nothing fancy. A Beretta Neos non-stainless with a 6inch barrel. Seen one seen them all. If someone calls me out I will think about posting a pic. "rlol" I am lazy today! Hope to take it to the range tomorrow night. Cheap plinking has arrived boys and girls. 55 bucks for 700 rounds and that was the cci mini mags. Couldn't find any cheap stuff, go figure.

Try Academy... they usually have Winchester at $18.95 for a box of 550...

Actually Academy had nothing! Bought the gun at Academy but no ammo. "rlol" I had to go to wally world for ammo. I actually saw two grown men arguing over .223 at Academy. Sad!

I visited two WalMarts and one Academy in quest of .22 LR ammo. Fortunately, I have a few (+/-) rounds because these three stores had naught.

Or Wally World. That's where I get mine.

I've considered this gun for my daughter, but she didn't like the grip. However, she also has a short memory when it comes to these things. I'd love to hear your range report.

It was 268 out the door. I couldn't argue with that. Comes with 2 mags and extras only cost 20. My wife has tiny hands and already likes the grip. The mag release is a little weird but easy to work. It is easy to release with your index finger on your right hand. I have shot one before and it worked well. I liked it better then my friends S&W 22 and it was 50 bucks cheaper. The buckmark was nice but I wasn't looking for anything fancy. Cheap, accurate and reliable.

Edit: I will give a range report ASAP but if it is anything like the one I shot before it should be accurate and reliable. You can see the mag release in both of the pics. It is right about the trigger. Weird but easy to work.

Thats funny because I have the opposite problem, I wont shoot anything bout CCI out of my .22 and all I can ever find is the bulk Winchester stuff
