Schumer editorial

The tone and content of the first half of this op ed was surprisingly conciliatory. Still, I have a hard time really believing that "progressives" or even Sen. Schumer himself view the Heller decision as settled law.

I just LOVE  how he calls gun control proponents "gun safety" proponents and infers NRA is against gun safety.

:mad5

Hand a gun grabber a gun and see how "safe" they are with it.

Knowledge is the first step toward safety and gun grabbers don't even know how to operate "that shoulder thing that goes up" "rlol"

Yeah I caught that choice description of the "other" side.

I don't trust Schumer any further than I can throw him but I kept looking back at the top of the article to make sure it was the same Chuck Schumer that makes me want to throw things at the TV every time his ugly mug appears that actually penned those words.

I have to say this: Bloomburg would never write an article like that. Bloomberg and others, maybe even Peter King are not going to go along with what Chuckie is recommending either. Accept Heller? Never, no way, no how.

But I never expected 9 States to file bills for upcoming legislative sessions to allow guns in schools and teachers to carry guns in the wake of the CT shootings. Perhaps it is a different atmosphere than any of us expected.

I suspect that the next few months are going to be anything but dull. We'll see where Chuckie comes out when Uncle Joe is done writing "Son of AWB".

There were two Japanese Ambassadors in Washington, DC on 5 December 1941. They were offering olive branches and Peace.

That gun-grabber is just trying to slick one past folks. Smiling to your face while waiting to plunge the knife into your back. Agreed that the man cannot be trusted any further than he can be picked up and thrown...

To learn the direction of the next attack. I agree that FDR probably blew it by not talking to the ambassadors from Japan but the attack force had been assembled and lunched by 12/5. None of us will ever know if would have actually been possible to have stopped it, no matter what FDR might have said.

When a drug addict says that they have reformed, I want to believe them. But ultimately, it is their actions, not their words that count. I'll believe that Chuckie is on the 12 step program when he starts acting like it.

Ol' Chucky is one of those who doesn't care if the elite own the uber-expensive fine old European double with the silver filigree work that they take to the sportsmens' club for a match once a year, or perhaps for a pheasant hunt on the estate of one of their cronies. Maybe a safari rifle in a caliber where the ammo costs $5 a round would be okay, too. But not any of those dirty "weapons of war" or gasp, handguns...how dare the peasants even think of owning those? They should know their betters are looking out for them and turn all those dirty guns in. Oh, and tug their forelock and bow on one knee whenever their betters come around, too.
