.38 Revolver Can't Get Any Better?

Post by doc540 »

14-2 Three T

I can't think of a way to improve on this timeless design.
(OK, remove the Tyler T for you hardcore purists!) :)

Smooth action, natural in the hand, inexpensive, and shoots like a little rifle.

Be careful, they are addictive  I started with one modern revolver, then two, then into military revolvers, then into military revolvers from around the world. I just added a British top break 1944 Webley Mk IV to the collection last week. Other than the S&W M&P Model 10 I carried many years ago in the service, I had little experience with revolvers. I enjoy everything about them and find them more appealing than semi-autos. But, the house and carry guns remain semi-auto. So, be careful, once you have one, or two, you "need" more. ;-)

Nice. I've been angling for a Model 28. Loved'em ever since I shot my friends.
Hello. My name is Red and I used to carry a .45. Now I carry a 9mm and it's getting easier to admit every day.

I bought my first revolver just before Christmas and I have to say that I really really really like it. I want a K frame now and I would have probably bought one in late January if Newtown hadn't occurred. As a result I had to fast track my spending. Instead of the revolver, I bought something that takes those dreadful 30 round magazines. Depending on the decision made by congress and the Thug in Chief, I may still have to finish my AR before my next revolver purchase. :cryin

Yes, I'm one of those "youths" that has no respect for punctuation and grammar. Allow me to rephrase: I understand and respect your notable affinity for revolvers. I recently traveled to a firing range with friends and fired a Smith and Wesson Model 28, which belongs to one of the aforementioned friends, at a target down range and enjoyed it so much I wish to own one myself.

Better? ;)

Jokes aside, everyone into the firearms hobby should own at least one revolver.
