I do not spend money in places that even try to make me leave my weapon in the car. This includes people who post the ghostbusters signs. Unless I have no choice I take my business elsewhere.
My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.

Well, businesses with improper postings ARE either ignorant or uninformed. At any rate, I will continue to enjoy my food there until they properly post. When they make a DIE HARD effort to properly ban a law abiding ctizen, then my business there ceases. A large company like TC can read the law and they have plenty of lawyers on their payroll that can read as well. Ever think that they are doing this DELIBERATELY? Maybe their insurance requires them to post "gunbusters" and such but it appears that there are few (if any) properly posted TCs around here. Maybe they cannot be outspoken CHL supporters for fear of lawsuits if something were to happen. Let me stress my point one more time....If the company in question here properly posts, then you know they are Anti-CHL...if they continue to post the way they have been despite all of the letters....then maybe they are "just looking the other way".

Works for me

Well, if the 30.06 "not Welcome" signs didn't keep me out, the mousehead sighting sure would!

Done deal. I'm shredding the TC discount coupons.

If their insurance company "requires" them to post a 30.06 sign, then they need a new insurance company. As it is, they will need a new set of customers.

I stopped at a Taco Cabana last night in Bastrop. I was hungry and I was curious if they had dropped the 3006 sign. The mini 30.06 was at the door. Maybe someday I will stop at a TC in League city because I know they removed the sign. but I won't go to a random one ever again. I know of no other large consumer business that is so anti gun.

That is a very good point...

But in what I can recall over the years that the Taco Cabana position has been discussed, I am still of the opinion that they are intending to restrict guns even under the auspices of the CHL law...

But they are just too dense to do anything but placate their insurance policy requirements, and some of our inquisitive members of our community...

In my opinion their intent is clear, yet their implementation of their policy is seriously lacking teeth to cause too many of us indigestion (pardon the pun)...

I am predicting that the TC subject will come up again just before Christmas... ;-)

Almost need to make this a sticky...JUST KIDDING!!!

Evidently not all Taco Cabana's are under the same rules. The one in Garland on Broadway has the "unlicensed possession......." sign not a 30.06.
This was as of last night.

Here's the thing.......If your weapon is really CONCEALED, they won't know if you have one or not. I don't go there because I don't like the fly's or the SALSA BAR that every Tom, Dick, and Harry have weezed apon. Just my two cents.....

IMHO, follow the laws and you are ok.

It has been said "Never ascribe to malice that which can be explained by incompetence." However, this "mistake" is in your favor.

I would posit "People aren't as stupid as you think."

Thus, I think razoraggie is on to something. A company as large as TC and a Texas only chain should have proper counsel. Please don't shout from the rooftops "Your sign isn't compliant" and make them change the signs.

Enjoy your tacos.
