Post by 68Charger »

My brother just bought his son his first rifle. My nephew is so excited to start shooting it. Here you go.

I also love the Texas picture in the background. Oh Texas.. how I love you.

That is one tricked out .22. His confidence is going to soar by shooting that thing.

Isn't that that super accurate little Savage in the same stock as one of the .308 10FP-CPK rifles?

I have one of those with a 3-9X mounted on it. Sighted in with Aguila Super Colibri ammo. It is my designated "Backyard Sniper Rifle" ...with the Colibris it makes less noise than my pellet gun. Super accurate and with two 10 round mags it's lethal!

I guess I forgot to mention it's a Marlin 22LR. Thank goodness, 'cause ammo is ridiculous now. Can't. Wait.

Ahhh. I original thought for a minute that it was one of these: http://savagearms.com/firearms/model/MARKIITRRSR

Holy cow! That is one nice rifle. With rails on it and all! I wish I could afford that.

I think it comes without rails too, but actually I was previously mistaken. The one I was originally thinking of is actually a semiauto, but uses that same stock and is threaded for a suppressor. I saw it tested in Gun-Tests magazine a few months ago: http://www.gun-tests.com/issues/24_4/fe ... 948-1.html. Here's the link to the PDF on that rifle: http://www.gun-tests.com/issues/24_4/fe ... -TR-SR.php

:???: I guess you have to be a logged in user to see the review. Here's the correct Savage Arms page: http://savagearms.com/firearms/model/64TRRSR
