SUBDUE THE YELLOW STREAK
It’s time for Republicans – way past time! – to run down the white flag of surrender to that round headed banana republic style dictator and tell him to put his meager 2.8 election landslide where the Sun doesn’t strike it. Enough is enough; Republicans must remember that a total fool is unredeemable and undeserving of any respect - office or no office.
Some of us took up the challenge after the 2008 election. It has been difficult because the Left has so thoroughly usurped the Democratic party and the MSM that we face a multi-front conflict. Part of the problem is that in our zeal to return to a principled approach, some have determined that there will never be another compromise. That might work if the Libs were not the party in power. Given that they, too, refuse to compromise and that they currently wield even more power than granted them by the respective State and Federal constitutions, it is more of a challenge than perhaps this Sheriff even realizes.
A case in point: Mayor Bloomburg, who is simply the mayor of of NYC the same as Ed Koch was, has taken it upon himself to take paid NYC staff and send them to other States in search of "evidence" to further his anti-gun cause. So the taxes of the good people of NYC are being used to wage an anti-gun war against Southern States. I submit that that is an unprecedented power grab and not countered easily, regardless of the spinal rigidity of any Republican.
I personally believe that the conflict will be won or lost on the local level. What we need are more local representatives who will counter the Lib agenda in our school districts and in our towns. Grapevine, TX is implementing Agenda 21 and that needs to be stopped locally. While it is as hard to get information about local candidates as it sometimes is for National ones regarding their real core values, we will not start pushing back the Socialist tide until we do. That was have so many Republican governors suggest that people in other States agree with this approach.
It is time to put away the rhetoric about taking our country back and go about the daily tasks associated with accomplishing it. Flowery speeches only work if you are a Democrat and have a fawning media to support you.
