I believe it.

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

It has been a while but I was in PSYOPs for 4 years. I still have buddies that are in and I will see if they can shed any further light about this. At least a confirm or deny. I've seen several articles about this lately and it scares the hell out of me. :patriot:

While most are quick to criticize the source for everything from his lack of professional journalism to sky-is-falling profiteering, and maybe rightly so, Jones' new media blogs about controversial topics (Agenda 21, globalist banking cartels, gmo food, etc.) that main stream media won't touch. Those that brush off these stories with tin foil hat comments are missing the point. Whether the stories are dead-on accurate or not is not important; they introduce subject matter to "the conversation" that would otherwise be ignored. And there's always more under the surface to the political and economic reports of the sound-bite driven MSM, particularly that of the last decade -- just a question of degrees.

I'd suggest actually reading the document. If you read the document, you'd clearly see it's being misrepresented by Alex Jones.

Just because I am paranoid does not mean they are not coming after me.

Hmmmm..... I did not, and I am using Google Chrome on a Mac. Usually Chrome is very good about notifications like that.

I followed the link in the article to the Army PDF and downloaded it. I'll read it through and see if it is indeed that alarming.

The problem with Alex Jones's work is that it is so full of hyperventilating that it is difficult for me (personally) to sort through it all for nuggets of truth. I'm not saying he's wrong, but neither do I trust him either. But then I feel the same way about his reporting as I do about the way "mainstream media" reports on things like guns, for instance. It becomes a problem of the reporter having so much faith in a forgone conclusion about a story that they are not able to report accurately on it. Example: reporters have preconceptions about the 2nd Amendment and evil black rifles, and it therefore colors the way they report on the Sandy Hook shooting. So they represent the same kind of breathless reporting as Alex Jones, but just on the other side of the ideological spectrum.

Anyway, the document is several hundred pages long, but I'll come back to this thread and post if I find anything truly disturbing in it. If anyone wants a copy, it can be downloaded at http://info.publicintelligence.net/USAr ... lement.pdf. PublicIntelligence.net appears to be a website devoted to making public certain information which authorities would probably prefer remains private, but which they have not taken steps to make classified. The Army information officer whom Alex Jones spoke with said that this document was not intended for the public domain, but neither did she use the words "classified," or "copyright protected;" so I am assuming that downloading it is perfectly legal. If you're not comfortable with downloading it, PM me with your email address and I'll be happy to send you a copy. (CAVEAT: this offer extends only to active members of this forum at the time of this post with whom I have a cordial relationship. I will not send a copy to lurkers who are not at this time active members.) Since the Army has not made any attempts to remove the document from public access, I assume that there are no national security implications in downloading it.

No, it is just a standard manual taken out of context by an activist / Media sensationalist. Any more specific and a FOIA is required, as it’s already been stated as such.

But Consider this…. READ the title of the Field Manual in question…. Note it is not education camp.. Read the title and google it…. .. what you will find is.. the operation is not new, nor is the manual. Calling it some secret re-education-camp-manual is as ludicrous as calling the Field Manual on Sniper Operations a “How to Kill dissenting Americans Manual..”.. Taken out of context, and placing some evil theme spin,, any manual we have for the military can be claimed to be some secret anti US American manual..

The US Military does bad things to bad people,,,,it’s what is asked of us, and as part of that, we write manuals to train from, to standardize those procedures and operations.

This is not new, or news.

Alex Jones is out to make a buck, he talks about fluoride in water then hawks water filter, he talks about TEOTWAWKI and then promotes bomb shelters. He is a scaremonger and a makes conservatives look like fools. I lump him in with Glen Beck....a wacko.
On New Year’s Eve of '99 Jones explained how ATMs were failing, explosives were going off in Europe, missiles being launched in Russia and how China was being attacked. He also began shouting about how there were more wars going on at thattimethan in the last 50 years and said that hundreds of thousands of people were dying on the last day of 1999.

Chalk up another person I've not heard of until reading about him here.

I guess I lived a sheltered life, but in many cases the folks I know nothing about seems to be a good thing...

Piers what's his face and now this highly questionable individual are folks I'm better off avoiding and giving them zero attention.

Blech!

Im going to have to respectfully disagree with you on that one thing...Glenn Beck and Alex Jones are opposite ends of the Spectrum. I may believe 911 was an inside job and so was Ok City and Waco was intentional but I think Alex Jones does what he does in the same respect Michael Moore does...for money.(they don't believe it) On the other hand GB has done more good for restoring this nations values, along with standing up for Christians and Jews alike. He is trying to educate people about what this nation was founded on, not trying to sew fear to make a buck...Sorry man

Read the document in question. Thank you for the link TAM. Saw nothing that would suggest the intent was forced internment of U.S. citizens.
