The left knows that they need many unarmed peasants to "protect" if they want to impose their form of leftist tyranny on a country. Since this country doesn't have a high enough percentage of unarmed peasants, they are setting out to create them by disarming citizens and by impoverishing the majority of the country. Worse, I don't think that it is even a conscious plot. Instead, such behavior is instinctive for leftists.

Debate all you want. I learned better long ago. If you are about to win with facts, you will either be confronted with emotionalism, ridicule, strawmen, or red herrings. It is like trying to debate a monkey (except that comparison is an insult to monkeys everwhere).

I was following the rash of postings for a while. It appears that they are not used to being challenged the way that you are doing it. I just love to watch their little heads pop.

Keep up the good work and, by all means, enjoy yourself. :patriot:

Yes, Andy they love the word "need"...

Choice is an ugly, ugly word to them.

We're onto magazine-bans now - and gee, I'm hurt. Someone said that I don't NEED magazines holding more than 10 rounds. I said that he could come and have them (absolutely 110% genuine offer) if I could then go around HIS house taking whatever I believed HE didn't need. He got all upset

I don't need to change their minds, specifically - but that of some in the audience.

May be fun for you but I find the rampant idiocy on display quite depressing. They're a bunch of feel-good idiots that want to deny everyone one of the most fundamental human rights: the right to self-defense. I wish I could just write them off as misguided, but these are the kind of misguided idiots who get other people killed. I'm just as convinced that have no place in my country as they are that I have no place in theirs.

Let's face it, the problem goes well beyond guns. I chuckled at the diatribe about the power that Boener has as Speaker of the House that was obviously missing when Pelosi had that job. They rail about the damage that Bush did as president but Obama has had the job for 4 years and the problems are all the fault of the GOP who only has the House. When the Dems had the House, the Senate and the Presidency, all that they managed to do is pass the Stimulus and Obamacare (thankfully), leaving all of the other problems that they are now blaming on the Republicans. It is the typical MSU (make stuff up) approach.

If you want to read something to make your blood boil about getting people killed, try the Vietnam War.

I absolutely agree with you; I just refuse to kowtow to the shrieking, ignorant horde in letting them have it all their own way. Call it an act of defiance ;-)
Yeah, I get that. I used to do it myself. I even used to enjoy it. Now I'm no longer interested in conversation with liberals.

Conversing with liberals is much worse than wrasslin' with pigs.

Yep, but ever notice the vast majority (when it happens) of converts go from liberal to conservative?

Yes, it goes the other way too, but rarely...

So, while conversing with liberals is onerous, it may ultimately prove fruitful.

Look at Bernard Goldberg and others who once they see the light are truly terrific converts.
