Wow! Found some ammo at walmart.

Post by Txfire409 »

Stopped by walmart this morning on my way to work at about 5:15 and as always went to check the ammo shelf. To my surprise there were two 100 rd value packs of .45 wwb. It's not alot but a couple hundred rounds extra adds up. Oh, and the price gougers at walmart raised the price by .83 . lol

yep, I was able to find 5 boxes of the Remington Slugger 15pks (12ga, 1 oz. slug, 2 3/4in) in 1 of the 10 Wal-Marts in my area. Great price- $10.47 for 15 slugs ($ 0.69 ea.) I think there was one box left when I left

It's all about timing. I have been picking up a box or two per trip to walmart for a few years now. Lately I've been lucky every 2nd to 3rd trip. Juts have to catch them at the right time as they are pulling it from the back.

Yeah they had about 10 boxes of the same at the Four Points Wal-Mart here in Austin. Up to $40.77 per. I snapped up three boxes which put my surplus at about 700 range rounds.

I stop in every week or so, but so far no luck except a few random calibers here and there. I think the last stop they had one box of 22 and a couple boxes of .410 Shotgun shells...neither of which did me any good.

I have been hitting Walmarts pretty regular as well. Probably about 8 stores a week. The ammo supply is really hit or miss. I have picked up some .45 and there are some odd calibers here and there. Plenty of 30-06, .38, .357, .44. If anyone wants anything shoot me an email and if I find some I will pick it up for you. I can text you with the cost. we can swap it out. I am in Houston area.

I have been looking for 9mm, .45 acp, .22 lr, and .223. Needless to say I have not even seen a rumor of .223...

This is one of the first times I've been glad to have a Glock 32 (.357SIG). That seems to be the most commonly found on the shelf.
