After lurking I have joined and figured I would document my timeline so far:

Documents sent: 12/28/2012
Documents signed for: 01/02/2013

My best guess with the numbers is expect to see plastic on March 15... lets see how close I get --- dps shows status as waiting for paperwork to be recieved..

when does it go by when you finished the online submittal or from the date they recieve the mailed documents ?

I believe it goes by the mailed documents. I completed my online app in June and finally got around to my fingerprints in December. Sent all doc's in on 12-18 and my status has still not changed (Waiting on Documents). I don't think i have been this impatient about anything!!!

Hmm seems that the status update is getting closer, seeing those who sent in a week or 2 before me getting updated status. Guess we will see what next week brings. Seeing that I have several Federally held licenses all with fingerprints and background checks the systems would be fast to link them together...?
