I would, but they still have some very left wing politicians at the state level introducing legislation to ban conservatives from moving into the state.
Texas has boneheaded lefties attempting to make rules. We wouldn't want to be judged by the actions of Sheila Jackson Lee.

The thing is though the RKBA is not just a conservative cause. It is /(should be) a civil rights cause that Leftist can and should embrace. Vermont a Northeast and Very liberal state has some of the best gun laws in this nation. They were the first to have Constitutional carry. New Hampshire allows open carry and has a simple administrative process for Concealed carry License. Both these states have gun laws that we in Texas can only envy.

The thing is we as Gun holders need to back away from the RKBA as a strictly a conservative cause, The way things stand now we as nation hold on to our rights only at the leisure of the leftist. They are the ones running things. What we need to do is help the leftist see that the RKBA is as much of a liberal cause as it is for conservatives. We have the hearts of the conservative and libertarian movements. We only have a few of the liberals. If we can't convert them to Libertarianism, maybe we can get them to understand the RKBA.

I don't find voting choices too hard, Libertarians and Republicans I get to vote for are pretty much in line with the RKBA, but if I were given a choice between a Democrat who fully supports the 2nd amendment and a Republican who thinks that we should keep our options open for reasonable gun laws. I will vote for the Democrat.
