Police vs CHL crime

A while ago I posted about an officer that took my having a legal weapon under chl as probable cause to examine the rest of my legal weapons. I just looked up some quick stats, and found that police are statistically more likely to commit crimes than chl holders (about .5% as opposed to .0003% of their respective populations). So shouldn't I be inherently more afraid of him because HE (she) has a gun than they should be afraid of me having a gun, based on evidence? Do I get to examine their weapons? Sorry, I just don't like double standards, and wanted to hear other people's input.

Correction: .5% is the rate of reporting of misconduct, so a lot are probably untrue. But that value is still 1666 times bigger, so even saying 1% are true, this still stands

This isn't directly relevant, but this shows compared to general population, let alone chl holders whose rate is much lower.

Here we go again, another post to either slam LEO's or compare CHL to LEO's.

Your post is confusing and then you correct yourself. What exactly is the "reporting of misconduct?" That doesn't mean a whole lot and does not imply any criminal conviction. Are those simply somebody allegedly reporting misconduct or founded reports or criminal convictions or something with no merit? If it's just a reported complaint, that doesn't mean squat. People file false complaints all the time with no merit. If one is a proactive officer they will also receive complaints from doing good solid police work. If that is what you are referring to that is pretty lame. CHL holders are not out there contacting people so they don't receive complaints.

Your stats show General Population, not CHL holders, so not really even relevant due to the ratios. As well, looks like the stats quoted in the chart don't even match the text. Since this has been discussed ad infinitum in other threads and this is not valid data posted, we are not going to start another thread here.
