I have deleted posts after submitting them but if I didn't hit submit yet I just close the browser page.
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

There are a lot of great posters here. Making a meaningful contribution to a thread that isn't, yup, yep, me too, I agree, can be frustrating. So I'll type up a reply, see where I've duplicated someones post and delete. Or not on occasion.

I'll type something really funny and then realize that it's not funny or only funny to me, and that's just stupid. I don't delete often though, I'm trying to catch up to TAM.

All the time.

I've done it several times before. I'll read something, then begin typing a reply. Somewhere while writing the reply, something in my mind makes me think "nah, forget this" and I'll just delete it and move on to another thread.

Yes all the time... Write my thoughts and then reread those thoughts... And go wow go ahead and really say what is on your mind but this time do it without sounding like an ummmm yeah just re write it in a nicer way or don't comment.
