Scope for Mini 14

Scope for Mini 14
I was looking for recomendations for a scope or optic of some kind for my Mini 14. I figure something relatively low power say 1 to 4x since its a 100 to 150 yd gun for me max. I am not sure a dot optic is even workable. Let's say under $200. I have the regular scope mounts that came from Ruger. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
