Quick Question for TXI

Post by razoraggie »

TXI...I'm asking this in your general direction because your normally the fastest to answer, but ANYONE can jump in. I need to know if the Penal Code was indeed changed so that it is legal to carry in a hospital as long as it is not a university hospital or a federal hospital. I need to know rather quickly as so my wife is going to be frequently traveling to St. Lukes in the Medical Center. Thanks in advance!

As long as the hospital is not posted 30.06 it is legal. However, most hospitals are posted 30.06

Hospitals are only off limits if they post a 30.06 sign.

I can dig out the cite if you need it.

To exclude CHL holders the hospital must post a 30-06 sign.
TXI will give the law in print I am sure.

If that is St. Lukes in Houston I think it is posted.
Hope I am wrong.

There are signs, but they are far from 30.06 compliant. It doesn't even look like they glanced at the law but just posted whatever somebody thought would be a good sign.
