Are safe zone signs as effective as gun free zone signs?

The progressive socialists in our society are working hard to create a mindset in our citizens that believes it is honorable to be a victim. If a lady is robbed, beaten, sexually assaulted, or murdered she is a hero. If the same lady puts a gun in her purse to defend herself, she is paranoid and a threat to the peace. Society is far better off to have an honest citizen brutalized and the misunderstood criminal unharmed than to have the honest citizen unharmed and the criminal in a pine box. Obviously I am too dim-witted to understand such advanced and enlightened thinking.

Since when do I adhere to what people think I 'need'. I have a right, given to me by the founders of this great country, to protect myself from criminals and the government alike. Take your 'need' and find someone else who will fulfill the role of 'sheeple'. As for me, I am the sheepdog and I will not bow to the socialist climate invading our lives.

Our own Suzanna Hupp was on Fox News today with Megan Kelly. Most of us have heard her story before about the Luby's massacre , but her story always worth hearing again. Towards the end on the interview, she addresses what the gov't thinks we "need." Video link here:

Actually, the right was given to you by God. The founders just listed some of them.

It would be only fitting if Representative Salazar had to sit down with his two daughters and tell them the rules posted for the University of Colorado for their "safety", beginning with "Be realistic about your ability to protect yourself." I wonder where the conversation would go from there.
