Nope, impulsive purchase. I stopped for ammo and I found the BER rack is full and there is like 10 people in line to check out those evilness. I waited to check out what they have, I was shocked that some patrons where threatening each other if someone jumped the line

The sales people tried to avoid us for like 20-30min in the hope we leave and their buddies show up so they can buy the black rifles. Their efforts were in vein.

I was not interested in purchasing any firearms, my gun safe is packed like a sardine can :biggrinjester: My wife was like :mad5 :mad5 :banghead: :banghead: when I called her about my new "investment". :smilelol5:

However, when I molested that ODG Magpul-dressed carbine, it felt solid like a tank. I have a piston driven SIG 556 and the quality of fit and finish of the M400 is like day and night compared to my SIG556.

With illuminated fire-dot on top, good move Cabelas guys, I was blinded and skipped looking at the price tag and yelled I will take it.

My 4 hrs wait to check out and open carry my "green" earth friendly long firearm was priceless. Take that Mr. VP Al Gore :evil2: :evil2:

If the pressure to sell is too high from my "interior minster of finance", I will swap the Leopy with Nikon 2.5x10 M233 with Nikon base mount M233 and sell it at fair market value.

Beiruty, I know that in the past you've been partial to the AK platform and its derivatives. Is this your first AR pattern rifle?

Yes, my first AR with gas piston, the other 1/2 AR 1/2 AK is my SIG 556. It has the piston and bolt and side folder of an AK in the frame and control of an AR. Mixed world. I just added to my SIG 556 a 1" extra large Mag release button, to fix the fault in the design in SIG 556. I could not not drop the magazine with my trigger finger while keeping a grip on the grip.

The left Mag drop is a surprise extra! is that common now? My SIG 556 did not have that.
