Looks like those heavier grain bullets did better in those wind conditions...Obviously...

I'd stretch the range out to 3-400 yards and see how well they fall into place...Such a lite round...But hey, like you said, it can turn into "another" hobby...

My new hobby is a Seabrook, Texas build with a Nikon M-223 3-12x42 with a BDC 600 reticle...Kinda almost does the work for ya, if you have it dialed in at 100...Even though they say the BDC is set for 5.56 ballistics, the .223 I send downrange works pretty good...I still have a little bit of work to do with it, but it is a fun, new hobby...

"Nickel size groups at 100 yards." To be honest I would have expected a tack driver at that range.

First long gun and I've been reloading rifle rounds about three weeks.

Give me a couple of months, and I'll exceed your expectations. :thumbs2:

Here's change for that nickel.

Looks good to me, especially with any type of wind. Nickel sized groups are not bad in my opinion. It is harder to shoot super tight groups than most people think...I appreciate you posting targets, plural, meaning more than just your best group ever. And also being more than a 3 shot group as well.

A left winged one at that.
I was noticing that it was from the sinister side.

Both of my bolt rifles are left-handed. I know that some left-handed shooters don't mind right-handed bolt rifles. I used to be one of them, and my first bolt gun was a righty Ruger M77. But after I bought my lefty Remington 700 VSF .308, I determined then and there that I would never buy another righty bolt gun. I really wanted a Gunsite Scout, but I refused to buy one until the lefty version came out.

Power to the bolt gun, Left On.
