I did a bad thing. I spent money.

I got a snubnose revolver made by a company i'm almost embarassed to admit that I bought. But it's a nice little revolver, I just can't shoot it very well yet.

Somebody told me within the last 8 hours that Glock was NOT going to make a wheelgun. ;-)

I didn't find a holster. But I did wander by a table that had two mags for a 92FS. One 10rd and one 15rd. Slightly used so I inquired. I guess he thought they where both 10rd mags casue he replyed $10 each. So I handed him $10 for the 15rd clip.

It looks like one of the mec gar mags. but I could be wrong. Looks just like the factorys ones I have cept its got a plain base and the follower looks to be metal and not plastic. So I either got a deal or a dud. Guess I'll find out on my next trip to the range.

Just funny to go in for one thing and come out with something diff. I always hear those stories but never thought I would have my own.

I picked it up NIB from Bachman Pawn & Gun. They had 3 of them stacked up on the table at 9:30 on Sat.

From what I understand RRA tells dealers that they can not advertize a price lower than $1k on this model. Most print ads I have seen say call for current price or something like that. Even so, I was very happy with the price.
Yep, I saw them too. Unfortunately I had another mission in mind and I accomplished it. My wallet is significantly lighter now. I walked out with
  • Glock 29
  • 2 extra G29 mags
  • 4 Pearce grip extensions
  • 2 Glock 20 mags (15 rounds) with A&G mag extenders so they would work with the 29
  • Extended mag release, slide release and slide locks ?
  • KelTec P3AT with extra mag and +1 extenders
  • Pocket Holster for P3AT
  • 200 rounds of 10mm range ammo
  • 200 rounds of 380 range ammo
  • 50 rounds of 380 Winchester Silvertips
  • 20 rounds of 380 Federal Hydrashocks
  • 100 rounds of Winchester Ranger T 230 grain +P 45acp
I think that's about it.
Every chance I get. I wanted to pick up another 500 rounds of range ammo but was tapped out by the time I got the rest of the stuff.

I was planning on buying some Winchester White Box 45 ammo but there was none to be found. Dealers were saying they are 3-4 weeks behind on production. I'm gonna try some different ammo in my Kimber and see if it's any better but I couldn't find anything but reloads or the really cheap stuff. Are you guys having problems finding it in 45? There was one dealer selling the 40 cal 165 grain WWB for $109 per 500 which I thought was an excellent price.

you coulda got that P3AT from Carl, for cheap, too!

anyway, I had to get a pass from being on call, not my ol' lady!
shewt, she was fired up to go with me!!!
had to peel her off of an interesting thing she found. It's an Italian (I think) gun, called the EAA (I think).
she asked me to ask ya'll if anyone had heard of it, or what ya'll thought of it.

me, I bought a LaaaaaaazerGrip for my Taurus. I have to tell you. That gentleman (Ed Moore) was one of the nicest people I have ever given money to. He really was enjoyable talking to, and the guy even made a point to talk to several customers that clearly had no indication of buying something. Dude installed the laser, and sighted it in for me, walked me through all the little in's and out's too. I know installing it would have taken me a scant few minutes, but the time he took to do that was an extra effort I like to call Customer Service, so Kudos to him.

I also bought this little nylon pocket holster from WRB that is covered with this material that is supposed to help keep the holster in yer pocket.
it's as rigid as a Galco pocket holster, and only cost me $20(the Galco runs about $60), so I jumped on it. seems neat, so far!

they had them little $8 dollar flashlights I was going to pick up, but I'll be jiggered if they didn't shut the stinkin' Show down before I had a chance to get over there.
Stinkin' job kept me up at work till almost 3, and I didn't make it down there till almost 4. And, everyone KNOWS you need at least 3 hours just to mosey around enough just to get a feel for where everything is!!!
good times, though. I'll be better prepared for the June show...

Yep, they make a nice weapon. They are one of the remaining that still offers a 10mm. I think their most popular gun is called the EAA Witness.

Was it the Crimson Trace laser or a tactical laser. Which booth was he at? I may have to look him up in June for my Glock.

I bought the same holster for the KelTec. It works like a champ. I was going to buy the Don Hume myself but he talked me into that on instead.

I normally spend 5-6 hours in there but I was on a mission and got out of there in about 3 myself. I'll be back in June.

I bought an ammo can of 500 at the last show and they all shot well, but man they will dirty up your gun. You'll see what I mean after about 100 rounds. That being said I bought some 380 and 10mm loads from them while I was there.

30.06 is irrelevant.

When I carry a handgun into a gun show, I am not doing it under CHL law, thus 30.06 does not apply to me. No different than when I carried into a gun show before 1995....

Mike: thanks for the head's up on the EAA. and yes, it was the Witness model that she looked at. in .40 S&W.
