Sounds like it was at least very dirty, if not leaded up a bit.

I'll bet once you use S&W 642 you will be sold. I love mine and slips into a front or back pocket easily.

:iagree: ^That's it in a nut shell for when you need small & light.

I have one for Sunday carry. It will not replace my .45 as daily primary.
