Re: Who is Marko Kloos?
Marko Kloos is a very nice guy who is a Sci-Fi author. I've exchanged a few emails with him over the years. He is the pro-gun owner of the Munchkin Wrangler Blog, and many of his essays are quite famous. His most famous essay, which usually gets fraudulently attributed to some retired USMC colonel by the name of Caudill is titled "Why the Gun is Civilization" (http://munchkinwrangler.wordpress.com/2 ... ilization/).
Kloos is a foreign born libertarian who has resided in the U.S. for a number of years with his American wife and children. Someone spammed the interwebs with emails claiming that Major Caudil (USMC Ret) wrote this essay. It ticked Kloos off for a while, because he not only wrote the essay, he got paid for publishing it, and he's not getting the credit he deserves for his work, but I think he has managed to let go of it.

Re: Who is Marko Kloos?
I imagine it would annoy a lot of writers if people were not only violating their copyrights, but also claiming somebody else wrote it. It's like taking a song, posting it on youtube, and attributing the song to a different singer or band. The Annoyed Man wrote:Kloos is a foreign born libertarian who has resided in the U.S. for a number of years with his American wife and children. To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic-TN

Ah, never mind. I thought he meant Marko Kloos. IIRC the Snarky Bytes guy went off the wall cause we weren't all rabidly pro-open carry.jmorris wrote:But is he banned from here?

Speaking of false claims of music authorship, it's my understanding that Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin
found a lot of songs written by black American bluesmen from the South, stole them and claimed that
he wrote the songs. The blues men didn't have the lawyers/copyright protection to challenge this theft.
