Crossbreed fail

Post by blackgold »

I'm getting closer to getting plastic in hand. Decided I really needed to settle on a holster. I had decided I wanted a crossbreed but didn't want to wait. I've been checking almost daily since a friend told me about them. Last Saturday they had a left handed super tuck for my xds. I reserved it and dropped a letter with cash in the mail Monday. I called today to check on it and they sold it to someone else who reserved it the day after I did. They have already shipped it to him and still don't have my money. Once they receive my money and prove their system reserved the holster to me they will make me another one but I'm guessing that will fall under their 6-8 week timeline.... DPS stated my license should be shipping any day now. :(. Anyways just wanted to vent a bit. I will check to see if they got my cash tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure you'll be getting a brand new Crossbreed out of the deal. Patience!!!

I just received two holsters and two belts that I ordered back on 21-January. Just 2 days shy of 8 weeks from order to delivery.

:iagree:
I bought a crossbreed second. Shipping was pretty quick once the Post office got my cash to them. Sounds as though you might get a brand new holster because of their slip up. Have you tried any local gun shops for a holster to get by on till your new one comes in?

You think mtac has NEVER slipped up?? This web site alone has literally hundreds upon hundreds of posts indicating that crossbreed is a good quality company with a top notch product.

As a purchaser of both products, I far prefer my crossbreed to mtac.

Crossbreed for the win. I use one for my 1911's. Absolutely the best holster I have ever used.

The good news is you'll get a "first" for the 2nd price. However, if you need a holster now- Here is a Lefty for sale, for the XDs, but it's not crosbreed....

Bullard is great quality and he probably has a matching belt in stock.

Buy another holster from Amazon while you're waiting, you should try different holsters anyway. I discovered I really don't like IWB carrying and much prefer OWB in a Bianchi holster.
