Current wait times for CHL renewals?

Post by JimmyD »

Just curious what the current wait times are for CHL renewals. My class is scheduled for May 19th. My current CHL expires in mid October. I'm sure that will give me enough time but I just wondered if DPS is any more efficient. My initial CHL took 80 days from mail in until I received it.

Thanks!

A couple of recent renewal students said they got theirs back in less than 3 weeks (for a change).

Heck, taking a May class with an October birthday, you'll have time to get the fingerprints sent back twice. ;-)

My Mom was one of them. She took her class on the 14th & mailed it in on the 17th. 23 days from mail in she was approved & issued. She has not received it in the mail yet.
