Where to find carry ammo in Houston?

I wasn't sure if I should make this it's own thread or post it in the ammo thread. I opted to make my own but if a mod thinks it would fit better in the existing, please feel free to merge this post into it.

I may just be going at the wrong times but I seem to be having a really hard time finding 9mm JHP rounds in the Houston area. I know it's not a big surprise considering the shortage and all but I'm getting to the point where I am going to need some soon. My preference would be Speer Gold Dots but it's not a good time to be choosey either. I've even looked at picking up some from from Freedom Munitions to get me by. I'm also scouring online sources along with the rest of the country.

Does anybody have any suggestions on where to look?

We will be receiving a shipment of 9mm Federal Hydra Shok at Def Con Guns in west houston.

Call ahead to make sure it's in before coming out.

I had to post a request in a gun forum (like this one) and eventually someone came to my rescue with 100 rounds at a "friendly" cost.
It was stuff I had never shot before, so it pained me to run through half of it at the range to make sure there wouldn't be any surprises if I ever had to use it..

Gunbot alerts are going, plus I hit ammo seek when I can and am checking plenty of sites myself. Of course I'm kicking myself for not snapping up Speer Gold Dots in the 50 round LE packs when they were running $0.50-0.60 a round.

I figured I'd need to run at least 50 through each gun to ensure proper function (though I'd prefer 100). Thanks for the tips.
