Violated so many weapon rules that you must live by:

1. Always point the weapon in a safe direction.

2. Remove Magazine.

3. Visually and Physically check the Chamber to make sure there are no Rounds in the Weapon.

4. Advance Slide/Action.

5. Check that #1 is still satisfied

6. Squeeze Trigger to ensure weapon is clear.
